Vassallo Constructions completed the Showground Water Main Replacement for Mackay Regional Council in 2018.
Approximately 550m of 450dia DICL pipe was installed to connect to existing pipelines. The project required works within two of Mackay’s busiest thoroughfares; Gordon and Milton Street.
Night works were implemented to complete works across Gordon Street to minimise traffic disruptions. Coordination with TMR, Mackay Regional Council Water Department and Mackay Police were utilised for these works.
