Scope

The contractor worked closely with Mackay Airport to ensure site access was well-planned, considering the needs of the immediate stakeholders, local community and road users. Smaller construction plant was used throughout the project to enhance manoeuvrability Day and night construction activities were managed to mitigate disruption to airport operations. This included managing vehicle movements, organising stockpile and spoil relocation landside, and monitoring airborne materials near aircraft. Temporary fencing was installed around the Front of House workspace to minimise airport users.
