Scope and Overview

Bruce Highway Safety Program works includes:
– Intersection upgrades;
– Road widening;
– Wide Centre Lines Treatment;
– Extension of Overtaking lane; and 
– Treatment of roadside hazards.

Construction of road with following project elements:
– Drainage;
– Earthworks;
– Unbound and modified pavements;
– Sprayed bitumen surfacing;
– Dense graded asphalt;
– Concrete medians and kerbs;
– Road furniture;
– Lighting;
– Landscaping,
– Pavement marking and delineation; and
– Bus shelters.
