The works broardly consisted of construction of a revetment overlay, at 1V to 1.9H at 7.6m offset from an NQBP crest chainage line and included:
– Fill below MSL with either 160 –600kg rock or 10 – 40kg rock;
– Addition of 1 or 2 layers of 160 – 600kg rock with 5 rock toe to a crest level of 9.75m LAT. The armour shall cap the fill below MSL and the upper slope.
Vassallo Constructions supplied all labour, supervision, management, plant, services, temporary facilities, on site setting out tools, equipment and materials for the rehabilitation work to the Northern Revetment Wall at the Mackay Harbour. The works included:
– Prepare and implement required management plans;
– Undertake site establishment, preparation and mobilisation;
– Undertake cleaning, maintenance and management of laydown and facilities;
– Supply and install any temporary works required to complete the Works;
– Install, monitor and maintain protection measure for existing infrastructure;
– Supply and install a geotextile;
– Supply and install rock fill;
– Supply and install armourstone;
– Complete site dis-establishment and demobilisation; and
– Submit all Quality Assurance (QA) documentation and associated deliverables.
