The Mackay Airport engaged Vassallo Constructions to complete a 247 long-term car park. With a 3-month accelerated delivery programme, we were able to complete this project prior to the busy Christmas Period.
This project includes the extension of the existing long-term carpark to create additional parking bays. The scope of work generally involves:
– Mobilisation, site establishment and demobilisation;
– Survey setout and the provision of as-constructed documentation;
– Location and positive identification of all existing services within the works area by non-destructive means;
– Stormwater drainage including stormwater quality treatment device;
– Earthworks, including the relocation of existing stockpiles;
– Pavement construction;
– Line marking and road furniture;
– Carpark fencing; &
– Construction of carpark lighting.
